Important: Please Read about the Open Spaces Proceedings
The following documents are the proceedings produced on March 7, 2011 at the National Conversation on EL Education in Seattle, Washington. Throughout the day, participants were involved in a series of working group conversations as part of the Open Space Process. Participants were provided with a uniform template and, as part of the Open Space Process, each working group identified a scribe to complete the template and transfer the information to an electronic format. The individual reports you will see were produced solely by the scribe for each group and have not been modified in any way; they have not been reviewed for errors or correctness (including, but not limited to, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and/or content). These reports reflect the scribe’s interpretation of events, which may or may not have been reviewed and/or accepted by the members of the working group. In addition, the contents of these proceedings do not necessarily reflect the views or policies of the Federal Government (including the US Department of Education and other offices participating in the National Conversations on EL Education), nor does the mention of trade names, commercial products, or organizations imply endorsement by the U.S. government.
