The webinar will share information from The George Washington University’s Center for Equity and Excellence in Education’s (GW-CEEE) work on Identifying the Academic Language Demands of Secondary Science and Mathematics Standards for ELLs and Southern Connecticut State University’s research and professional development on the importance of student interaction and written output to develop academic language in middle school and secondary classrooms.
