In preparation for the LEP Partnership meeting on October 15-16, 2008, NCELA is sponsoring two webinars for State Directors of Title III and State Directors of Title I.
The interactive webinar on the federal Title I program is meant to provide an orientation to fundamental Title I program concepts and requirements for State Directors of Title III who may not have interacted with Title I programs in the past. Dr. Zollie Stevenson, Jr., Ph.D., Director of Title I at the US Department of Education, will facilitate the webinar and Susan Wilhelm and Sandy Brown from the Title I office will provide an overview of the Title I program and answer questions about its requirements and implementation.
